Being involved in your community is very important, although you may not know where to begin.

Volunteering is one place to start. It’s a positive outreach that benefits the community and the donor of services. When helping in your community, you gain leadership skills, create lasting relationships, take initiative, become understanding of others, difficulties and learn responsibility and selflessness.

There are many different ways to volunteer and be a part of Concordia.

You could volunteer to work at the O’Connor Animal Shelter — especially if you’re an animal lover! The employees at our animal shelter often have their hands full caring for the animals.

Another rewarding experience would be the Senior Citizens Center. Assisting with serving and delivering meals is a kind task.

Donating items to the Cloud County Community Resource Center is a great opportunity to help less fortunate individuals.

Another great way to give back would be taking time to visit residents of our local nursing homes while assisting with activities such as playing cards, putting together puzzles, visiting and doing crafts.

By volunteering at the Cloud County Historical Museum, you are educating others of Concordia’s rich history.

You might also consider becoming a Concordia High School Booster Club member, providing financial support for our school district’s various needs. CHS Booster Club ensures our school and sports/activity equipment are maintained.

Community involvement — and especially volunteering — is required for a successful society. Please consider getting involved as a volunteer in Concordia!

There are always a lot of modifications with this specific game and therefore the regulations are used according to your place.
