Calling all Preschool Age Cool Cats!

Neighbor to Neighbor’s February Reading With Friends session comes just in time for Valentine’s Day. Bring your preschool-aged kids to Neighbor to Neighbor in downtown Concordia, on Friday, February 2nd for an entertaining story time featuring one of our favorite cool cats, Pete the Cat.

Guest reader, Melina Hemphill will present “Pete the Cat: Valentine’s Day is Cool,”  written and illustrated by New York Times bestselling author and artist James Dean.

At first, Pete thinks Valentine’s Day isn’t cool…until he realizes all the special cats there are in his life. Once Pete the Cat realizes how much fun Valentine’s Day can be, he decides to make valentine cards for his family and friends. But what happens when he realizes he’s forgotten to make a card for a very important cat?

Story time begins at 10 a.m., followed by so much fun in our one-of-a-kind play room at Neighbor to Neighbor. Registration is required and will enable each family to take home their very own copy of the book, which includes a poster, stickers, and tear out Valentine cards to share with friends, while supplies last. Call 785-262-4215 to register.
