Don’t Miss Reading With Friends April 10th!

Neighbor to Neighbor in downtown Concordia, invites preschoolers to Reading With Friends! On Friday, April 10, at 10 a.m. The book, “The Hare Who Wouldn’t Share,” written by Steve Small, is the selected story this month. The special guest reader for this month will be Charli Barrett. Story time will be followed by play time in Neighbor to Neighbor’s special play room.

Hare is proud of his turnip patch and doesn’t want to share it with anyone. When the rabbits move in nearby, they invite Hare for carrot soup but he’s much happier being alone. Still, when a huge boar comes to the woods in search of his next meal, Hare feels he should warn his neighbors. Can they find a way to help each other stay out of danger?
