Reading With Friends will feature “On Sleepy Hill” in March

Don’t miss out on Reading With Friends at Neighbor to Neighbor in downtown Concordia on March 10. Reading With Friends is a monthly offering to preschool age children and their parents or caregivers. Each family will receive a free copy of the featured book with a limited number of copies available.
On Sleepy Hill by Patricia Hegarty will be the featured story presented by Neighbor to Neighbor director, sister Missy Ljungdahl.

As the sun goes down on Sleepy Hill, the animals are settling in for the night. This beautifully illustrated picture book with intricate, peek-through cut-outs throughout is sure to enchant any little one getting ready for bed. The soft, rhyming story is perfect for bedtime reading and along the way, kids will learn about animal habitats and behavior.

Pre-registration is required to attend and receive a copy of the book. To register, call Neighbor to Neighbor at 785-262-4215 or email neighbortoneighbor@csjkansas.org. Neighbor to Neighbor is located at 103 East 6th St.
