Thanks Vera, for your living the Mission of us CSJ’s. Thanks for the sharing of our lives throughout the years.
Thanks for letting others live in your care, which is God’s care.

I too remember a time when I was headed back to Concordia having been with a dear young friend who had had critical surgery in a hospital in Denver, CO when I stopped for an overnight in Norton, KS where Vera lived and worked at that time. I recall her compassionate loving and caring of me as my grief for my young friend spilled out in conversation. Thanks, Vera!

    Dear Sister Vera,
I cannot tell you how overjoyed I am right now to see your beautiful face! I’m only one of many of your previous students from All Saints Catholic School in Gladstone, Michigan. But you were my only Sister Vera. My entire life I’ve always remembered your kindness and compassion. When you left our Parish, you and I corresponded and even at 50 years old, those letters I’ve kept inspire me. Thank you for being such a positive influence in my life. You are truly an Angel. You always made me feel so special and loved, and I will always treasure that. God Bless you! I miss you and love you. Ann Roberts.
