Sisters, employees gather for Christmas cheer
It’s a holiday tradition that the Sisters of St. Joseph host a “Christmas Reception” for all their employees. As part of that, it’s also become a tradition that Sister Lucy Schneider write lyrics for a well-known Christmas carol, so the sisters present can sing their gratitude for the employees’ efforts all year long.
The reception this year was Wednesday afternoon (Dec. 12) and the carol was “Go Tell it on the Mountain.”

Sisters prepared the entire buffet feast for the nearly 70 employees, and then served them in the gaily decorated auditorium at the Nazareth Motherhouse.
A special treat this year throughout the luncheon were performances by music students from Salina, under the direction of Teresa Hernandez.
So nice to see the Motherhouse decked out so beautifully for Christmas! Nice to see some familar faces too! Merry Christmas to you and yours and may the New Year bring all the best to all of you wonderful people!
I miss all of you!!!

Love the pictures. Looks like everyone is having a great time. Merry Christmas to all!
What a delight to have Sarah Jenkins’ face is on the other side of the camera. A second delight is to have employees and families gathered, and in the pictures vs. behind the scenes of much of what the CSJ Mission is all about. Thanks NCAC employees for your commitment to our Mission. We need you!
The best of God with each of you!
