Sisters welcome staff to annual Christmas party
December 17, 2013 by Sarah Jenkins
Employees and volunteers filled the Nazareth Auditorium early this afternoon for a lunch prepared and served by Sisters of St. Joseph.
The annual event gives the sisters a chance to thank staff members and volunteers for their work all year long, and it gives workers in the sisters’ three Concordia buildings — Manna House of Prayer, the CSJ Administration Office and the Nazareth Motherhouse — a chance to get to know each other.
One annual tradition at the party has become a parody of a Christmas carol, written by Sister Lucy Schneider, to honor employees. This year’s song was set to the music of “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.”
Thanks, employees each and everyone for your service to the Sisters of St. Joseph.
Have a blessed, safe and peaceful holiday season. May those of concern in your lives be tended in God’s love.
