Sweet end to the week: Bake sale success
The bake sale this morning at the Motherhouse was a hit with sisters, staff and people dropping in to purchase goodies. There were three tables (and more) of pies, breads, sweet rolls, cookies, brownies, soup mix… Makes me hungry just writing it!
The food was contributed by sisters and Motherhouse employees who live in Concordia, and the proceeds will go toward the sisters’ mission and ministry. The sale was from 8 a.m. to noon, and by 8:15 business was brisk.
